We're Hiring | Senior NX Welding Fixture Designer (BIW)
Location: Metepec / Toluca / Lerma / San Mateo Atenco, State of Mexico

Work Scheme: Project-Based | Freelance

We are looking for highly experienced Senior NX Designers with proven expertise in Body-in-White (BIW) Welding Fixture Design.

This is not a general mechanical design position. We are seeking professionals capable of independently designing complex welding fixtures for robotic welding cells in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

Design welding fixtures using Siemens NX (Unigraphics).

Develop fixture concepts for BIW assemblies.

Define locating pins, supports, clamps and locating features to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Apply GD&T; principles to guarantee manufacturing tolerances.





Design fixtures capable of holding multiple sheet metal components during robotic welding operations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Interpret customer drawings and technical documentation in English.

Mandatory Requirements

5+ years designing Welding Fixtures in Siemens NX.

Proven experience in BIW (Body-in-White) projects.

Strong knowledge of locating pins, clamps, supports and fixture design methodology.

Advanced technical English for reading engineering drawings and specifications.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Background
Experience in automotive companies
