What You Will Do Works under minimum supervision to provide support to manufacturing area on a variety of engineering tasks Performs complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects Analyzes workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization Leads and supports process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce operational waste Performs scrap and rework analysis, including data review, root cause identification, and implementation of standardized procedures Participates in tooling design using Solid Works, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with engineering requirements Solves problems to enable production flow Supports production line operations Follows up on process improvements Provides engineering support for production operations, including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis within the machining business unit Might require travel to the U. S. occasionally Required Qualifications Typically requires a university degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Proficient conversational and written English, able to communicate efficiently in person and through reports or email Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to use advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested IF statements),



create and analyze pivot tables and charts, and perform data analysis to support business reporting and decision‑making Hands‑on experience using Solid Works or any 3 D CAD software for modeling, drafting, and interpretation of engineering drawings Experience operating, setting up, or troubleshooting soldering equipment, conformal coat or soldering conformal coat processes in a manufacturing environment (solder machine knowledge) Preferred Qualifications Experience interpreting and working with engineering documentation, including technical drawings, Bills of Materials, routings, manufacturing procedures, and product specifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical preferred; Industrial or Aerospace Engineering also acceptable) Project management experience, including planning, execution, and coordination of cross‑functional initiatives Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, including root cause analysis (RCA) tools and problem‑solving techniques RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
