Job Title

Human Resources Business Partner – Mexico

Overview

Blend is seeking an experienced, energetic Human Resources Business Partner to join our Mexico team. This hybrid role blends strategic HR partnership with hands‑on operational excellence, serving as the go‑to advisor for leaders and employees on all HR matters.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership and Culture Building

- Partner with business leaders and the integral People Operations team on talent strategy, organizational design, and people decisions that impact business outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership development, succession planning, and retention of key talent.
- Design, champion, and measure culture initiatives that reinforce Blend values and create belonging across the region.
- Lead conversations around employee engagement, performance, and development with empathy and business acumen.
- Provide thoughtful, candid counsel on complex interpersonal, performance, and organizational challenges.
- Support managers with coaching and frameworks to lead more effectively.

HR Operations and Administration

- Manage all aspects of employee onboarding, including documentation, compliance, and cultural integration.
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and payroll coordination; serve as the primary point of contact for benefits questions.
- Maintain accurate employee records, data integrity, and HRIS systems.
- Ensure HR policies are implemented consistently, updated,



and compliant with local regulations.
- Coordinate with external HR service providers (payroll, legal, benefits) and manage vendor relationships.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards that provide leadership visibility into people‑related trends.

About You

- Self‑starter and driven: takes ownership, anticipates needs, and works effectively independently while staying connected to the team.
- Strong HR foundation: 7+ years of HR experience spanning operations, employee relations, and business partnership; deep knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
- Strategic communicator: distills complex HR concepts into clear, actionable guidance and listens deeply to understand business context before recommending solutions.
- Cultural architect: creative, intentional approach to building culture, seeing HR as a lever for talent attraction, development, and retention.
- Problem‑solver: thrives on ambiguity, remains resourceful, solutions‑oriented, and navigates competing priorities with grace.
- Excellent attention to detail: ensures accuracy, consistency, and reliability in HR operations.
- Collaborative mindset: builds strong relationships with leaders, peers, and employees; trusted, approachable, and genuinely invested in people success.

Qualifications





- 7+ years of experience in HR business partnership or generalist roles with significant operational responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Mexico employment law, benefits, and payroll processes.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred); quick learner of new systems.
- Proven success building trust with senior leaders and enabling data‑driven people decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required; additional language skills valued.
- Thoughtful approach to HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
- Prior experience supporting a launch or setup of HR operations in a new country or office within a global organization is highly desired.
- Proven experience implementing or adapting HR processes within established global frameworks.
