Job Description

- Lead the overall management of the tax function, ensuring compliance with local and international obligations while optimizing the company’s tax position.
- Oversee the calculation, review, and filing of taxes (income tax, VAT, withholdings, transfer pricing, among others), ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Drive strategic tax planning, assessing risks and opportunities to maximize results and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external tax audits, as well as inquiries from tax authorities, serving as the primary point of contact with external advisors.
- Prepare, coordinate, and review tax provisions, tax accounts, cash taxes, and disclosures for financial statements and internal reporting.
- Implement and strengthen tax internal controls, as well as identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the tax function.
- Provide tax advisory to internal stakeholders on operational and strategic matters,



supporting business decision-making.
- Lead and develop the tax team, fostering performance, training, and alignment with organizational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

- Residence in Puebla or willingness to relocate permanently (relocation package provided).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or additional certifications preferred).
- Advanced conversational English.
- Previous experience in international manufacturing companies leading teams.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in tax compliance, tax reporting, and/or advisory.
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge, with experience in project management and participation in M&A; initiatives (preferred).
- Strong leadership, effective communication, and analytical thinking skills, with a focus on compliance and problem-solving.
