If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job Summary**Job summary:**To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a ***Payroll Accountant*** located in ***Guadalajara, North Campus***.Reporting to the Payroll Manager Sr., the Payroll Accountant, will oversee and coordinate various compensation-related activities to ensure that the organization’s payroll is processed accurately and on time.**What a typical day looks like:*** Payroll accounting entries, severance payments, terminations, and employee benefits.* Recording and monitoring accruals (profit sharing, Christmas bonus, vacations, bonuses, etc.).* Preparation and validation of payroll journal entries.* Analysis and reconciliation of payroll-related general ledger accounts.* Preparation of financial reports and variance analysis.* Support month-end accounting closing activities.* Provide support to internal and external Finance stakeholders.* Coordinate with Payroll, Treasury, and Tax teams.* Reconciliation of payroll records against accounting records.* Reconciliation of accruals versus vigente payments.* Reconciliation of bank accounts versus payroll disbursements.* Reconciliation of payroll CFDIs (electronic tax receipts) against accounting records.* Variance analysis and identification of inconsistencies.* Identification and mitigation of tax, accounting, and operational risks.
