We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a mission-critical project with a leading automotive company in Austin, Texas.

Bachelor's degree and professional license (cédula profesional)

What You Bring

3+ years of professional experience in backend or server-side development
Minimum 1 year of recent hands‑on experience with Go
Proven track record delivering large-scale projects in Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar languages

Very strong understanding of backend fundamentals including SQL databases, networking, and security

Comfortable with frontend technologies (HTML, Java Script, CSS) and at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Svelte
Proficiency in rigorous software development practices including version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production

Advanced English

Nice to have

Experience in manufacturing, industrial tech, or enterprise systems
Familiarity with REST or gRPC API design





Background working with production‑critical systems and on‑call rotations

What You'll Do

Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code that addresses real‑world manufacturing challenges
Lead end‑to‑end projects from requirements gathering and architectural design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
Mentor engineers and uphold integral standards of excellence in software craftsmanship
Prioritize robust, production‑critical systems with strong validation, monitoring, and support mechanisms
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain

Interact directly with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, scope, and implementation
