Purpose of Role
The Elementary Physical Education Teacher provides engaging physical education instruction that develops students' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills through structured movement activities, games, sports, and fitness education. The teacher fosters a positive environment that encourages lifelong participation in physical activity and healthy living.

- Plan and deliver standards-based physical education lessons for elementary students.
- Teach fundamental motor skills, movement patterns, sports skills, and fitness concepts appropriate to students' developmental levels.

- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
