JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will perform a full range of technical work including vehicle field studies, root cause analysis, road load data collection, data analysis and vehicle test reports. This position also runs laboratory empirical investigations resolving component level root-cause analysis,



writing new test procedures inter-laboratory correlation studies and other reporting associated with testing.

Essential Functions:

• Plans, conducts and coordinates a broad range of complex engineering technical assignments requiring an in-depth knowledge of foundation brake hardware and laboratory testing techniques including inertia dynamometer, roto-strokers, and linear actuators. Can complete these tasks with limited guidance from engineering resources including the inspection, assembly, and installation of test components.
• Regarded as a foundation brake hardware, vehicle chassis systems and road load data collection technical expert in the area of laboratory test methods.
• Will be a support resource to other Bendix department requiring vehicle test support.
• Will direct and coordinate laboratory activities of other test engineers or technicians on specific assignments. Schedule lab activities
