As Master Data Specialist you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing core business data across ERP, supply chain, and commercial systems. This role ensures that customer, vendor, product, material, and warehouse data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with corporate data standards.
Location: Remote based in Mexico.

- Create, update, validate, and maintain master data records including customers, vendors, materials, warehouses, pricing, BOMs, routings, and related ERP data.
- Acting as the golden record owner (ensuring customer master data is updated across ERP, CRM and E-commerce platform).
- Maintain customer master data and pricing files within SAP and related systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance standards, naming conventions, and classification structures.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and IT teams to support business requirements and integrations.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for master data processes,
workflows, and troubleshooting before escalating to IT.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and reduction of manual work.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and user support documentation.
- Generate reports and perform root-cause analysis on data quality and process issues.
- Support audits and compliance requirements (SOX)
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, master data management, or ERP support roles.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish: spoken, written and reading required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
