The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of Element Fleet's AWS cloud infrastructure.They will be maintaining scalable and secure cloud environments to support the company's transition from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud Services.This role will play a critical part in developing and implementing the company's cloud migration roadmap, ensuring high availability, performance, and security while modernizing IT operations.RESPONSIBILITIES occasional after-hours work for cutovers.
-KNOWLEDGE mentors peers; sets engineering standards (IaC, tagging, observability, security baselines) and enforces them through automation.
-Resolves deep infrastructure issues, solves complex architecture and migration challenges, introduces automation solutions and continuously improves performance, reliability, and cost efficiency, demonstrating continuous innovation to drive operational efficiency and modern IT delivery.
