The Senior Test Engineer – NPI is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying production test solutions for new electronic products from prototype through mass production.This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, test coverage, yield performance, and manufacturing readiness during new product launches.The idóneo candidate has deep hands‐on experience with electronics testing, strong problem‐solving skills, and the ability to work cross‐functionally in a fast‐paced NPI environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement production test strategies (ICT, FCT, system-level, functional, and boundary scan)Design, validate, and release test fixtures, test software, and automation solutionsSupport prototype, pilot, and MP builds, including on‐site test support and debuggingCollaborate closely with Design, NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teamsDrive DFT reviews with hardware and firmware teams to ensure testabilityDevelop and maintain test documentation including test plans, specifications, procedures, and reportsAnalyze test data, yields, and coverage; identify root causes and implement corrective actionsSupport failure analysis and debug hardware, firmware, and manufacturing issuesManage test equipment selection, procurement, qualification,



and maintenanceSupport test transfer to production and/or contract manufacturersDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cost, and test efficiencyMentor junior test engineers and technicians as neededEnsure compliance with company quality systems and regulatory requirementsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field6–8+ years of experience in electronics test engineering, with strong NPI exposureHands‐on experience with:ICT, FCT, system‐level, and functional test methodologiesAutomated test equipment (ATE) and test fixture designDebug of PCBAs and complex electronic systemsStrong knowledge of:Electronics hardware (analog, digital, power, mixed‐signal)Manufacturing test flows and yield optimizationExperience working in high‐mix / high‐volume manufacturing environmentsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‐solving skillsAbility to work independently and lead technical initiativesPreferred:Experience with LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or test scripting languagesExposure to SMT/TH manufacturing processesFamiliarity with DFMEA/PFMEA, IPC standards, and quality systemsExperience working with EMS partners or global manufacturing sitesBackground in regulated industries (automotive, medical, industrial, aerospace)#J-*****-Ljbffr
