Pacific Broadband Networks (PBN) is a general provider of cutting-edge broadband infrastructure solutions, enabling high-speed video, voice, and data services over optical and hybrid networks.Our solutions power over 60 million subscribers across hundreds of networks worldwide, primarily serving CATV and FTTx operators.Founded in Australia in ****, PBN combines deep engineering expertise with a global footprint.We design, manufacture, and support advanced broadband products — from the headend to last mile — helping service providers build smarter, more reliable networks.The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling as well as helping to expand product footprint into existing customers.Measures of success include new customer acquisition, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsibilities· Support sales account managers with solution selling into prospect account base· Partner with account managers to plan,



prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles· Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions· Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition· Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses· Effectively communicate client needs to the support team for future product enhancements· Provide prompt and accurate feedback to prospect· Ensure all issues are properly logged and documented with support· Assist Support in Prioritize and manage open issues reported by prospect· Maintain a positive relationship with our clients· Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until there question is answered· Possible travel· Collect and document competitive intelligenceQualifications· Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer· Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions· Ability to establish strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives· Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Excellent presentation and creativity skills· Willingness to travel· BA/BS degree or equivalent, with an engineering / technical base or 5 plus years of experience in the field· Solid understanding of the telecommunication / technology industry· Demonstrated ability to take initiative, develop relationships, and interact with all levels of management· Resourcefulness, efficient, problem-solver, and a strong sense of ownership· Strong Team Player, strong communication· Channel and alliance experience
