**Engineering Project Manager**

- Midtronics is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with extensive Software design and development experience.
This position will perform all project management related tasks for the Global Platform development team, in addition to acting as a technical leader, owning the schedule, managing risks, track tasks, and ensuring every project is delivered on time with quality.
**This position is onsite in Chihuahua (relocation not provided).

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**:
- Drive and monitor Hardware and Software development projects for Midtronics products from initiation through delivery
- Own project budget, schedule and overall project outcomes
- Interface with product management, sales, and customers to ensure our customers' needs are met
- Facilitate collaboration between departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
- Ensure projects are completed on scope, schedule and budget with quality by keeping teams accountable to project goals
- Gather required data from end-users to evaluate and align on Goals, Objectives and Scope
- Manage Risks and Issues
- Create, track and measure KPIs and Metrics
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**:
- BS in Engineering or related required, MS a plus
- Must be able to read/speak English
- 2 - 5 years' experience in Engineering project management with Software design and development experience




- Leadership qualities to work with cross functional, integral teams, gathering input and feedback from all stakeholders to arrive at consensus and achieve common goals
- Ability to establish/revise/execute process changes to gain engineering efficiency as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
- Detailed knowledge of waterfall and Agile design methodologies and all aspects of product design process
- Experience with presenting to executive leadership and clearly communicating the status of projects to customers
- Experience creating a detailed schedule, managing projects, and related project management functions
- Hands-on experience with electronics design and development in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
- Experience with Supply Chain teams a plus
- Knowledge of cars and the automotive industry a plus
- Understanding of creation of marketing materials a plus
