Requirements:
- Bachelor's in visual communication, marketing or related
- +7 years of experience in managing a creative operation, preferably in a design agency or marketing environment.
- Advanced English (conversational)
- Knowledge of US intellectual property laws, brand compliance, and creative licensing for digital and print assets.
- Understanding of retail advertising, packaging design, graphic design, art direction, adaptive design, and digital production workflows.
- Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.)
Functions:
- Motivate, mentor, and empower a team of creatives including designers, art directors, adaptive designers, and project managers.
- Strong communication and prioritization skills to ensure a positive team culture that delivers high-quality work with timely execution.
- Experience managing a remote or hybrid team while ensuring alignment with US-based creative leadership.
- Managing creative operations and workflows within an ad agency or graphic design firm setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure efficient scheduling, prioritization, and workload balancing.




- Enforce deadlines and manage multiple concurrent projects in partnership with US-based project managers while maintaining quality standards.
- Work across time zones and navigate differences in work culture, expectations, and feedback styles.
- Comfortable negotiating, advocating for team needs, and ensuring clear expectations between the Mexico City team and US leadership.
- Understanding of contracts, freelancer and vendor management in Mexico, including local labor laws and best practices.
