**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and Colombia, using your expertise to guide our practices.
- Lead meetings with team members and external consultants to align strategies, discuss financial matters, and provide updates on accounting issues.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting through effective communication.
- Contribute to account reconciliations and prepare technical reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements that accurately reflect the company's financial position.
- Complete monthly closings, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit-related inquiries.




- Stay updated with changes in accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and Colombia, assessing their impact on the organization.
- Serve as a key point of contact for accounting issues in the North Latam Region.
- Work effectively in multifunctional teams to run, plan, monitor, and deliver finance projects on time.
- Plan and monitor finance projects efficiently.
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and Colombia.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Consistent track record in running financial reporting and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
