Job Description Summary: As a Partnerships Manager based in Mexico City, you will lead the development and growth of key partnerships across Mexico and LATAM, including ecommerce platforms, digital agencies, marketplaces, and payment providers.
You'll identify new commercial opportunities, manage strategic accounts, and drive partner enablement, adoption, and integration.
Acting as both a strategic lead and internal advocate, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, unlock growth opportunities, and align partnership strategies with PayPal's broader goals.
Success in this role depends on your ability to foster collaboration and drive mutual value for partners and PayPal.
**Job Description**:
As a Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating existing partnerships and identifying new partnership opportunities with key partners in Mexico and rest of LATAM.
Partners include ecommerce platforms, software providers, digital agencies, marketplaces, and payment gateways to name a few.
You will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, creating account strategy, execution plans and project management of large complex strategic deals for the top global and local partners.
You will uncover and address servicing roadblocks and mitigate escalations while identifying new and cross-sell/upsell opportunities for PayPal, working closely in partnership with Sales.
You will also act as the internal Partner advocate with other internal teams.
You will drive adoption of new integrations, conduct regular outbound contact to deliver Partner education and best-practice sharing, and you will proactively review Partner's operating environments, including competitive threats on the account.
This role is responsible for defining and executing on a comprehensive and proactive partnership strategy aligned to PayPal's overall strategy.
Finally, you should be team-oriented, knowing that your success will be based on how you help others succeed.
The position will involve frequent interaction with PayPal leaders and external partners.
The role is based in Mexico City.
