Sourcing & Product DeveloperEmployment Type: Full-time | Location: León, Guanajuato (Onsite, M‐F)OverviewGymreapers is building a world‐class product engine—and we're hiring a Sourcing & Product Developer with deep sourcing expertise to help us scale.This role sits at the intersection of product creation, materials innovation, and vendor development, with a strong emphasis on domestic Mexico sourcing and international manufacturing partnerships.You will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and managing factories, mills, and material suppliers while ensuring our products meet performance, cost, and quality standards.This is not just a design role—this is a build‐the‐supply‐chain + build‐the‐product role.What You'll DoSourcing & Vendor DevelopmentIdentify, onboard, and develop domestic (Mexico) and international suppliers across: Textiles (performance fabrics, knits, woven)Synthetics (nylon, polyester, TPU, rubber, plastics)Hardware (buckles, velcro, trims, metal components)Cut & sew and gear manufacturersBuild and maintain strong factory relationships to improve: Cost efficiencyLead timesProduct qualityEvaluate and negotiate MOQs, pricing, and production capabilitiesTravel locally within Mexico to visit factories, mills, and suppliersProduct Development & ExecutionLead development from concept → sampling → productionTranslate product briefs into clear technical direction for vendorsPartner with Design to ensure materials, construction, and function align with brand standardsOwn the sampling process, ensuring speed, accuracy,



and iteration qualityTroubleshoot product issues directly with vendors and propose solutions quicklyMaterials ExpertiseSource and test high‐performance materials for: Strength, durability, and wear resistanceComfort and fit (for apparel)Performance under load (for gear)Provide recommendations on material substitutions, cost optimization, and innovationStay ahead of general material trends and innovationsLogistics & Importation KnowledgeWorking knowledge of international shipping, import/export processes, and freight forwardingExperience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners to manage shipments from origin to final destinationFamiliarity with Incoterms (FOB, EXW, DDP, etc.), commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documentationAbility to support cost optimization, lead time management, and issue resolution related to international freight and customs clearanceQuality & Production ReadinessEstablish and enforce quality standards and specsPartner with vendors to ensure design intent is maintained in productionParticipate in fit sessions, wear testing, and product validationDocument and communicate technical changes and improvementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with:
