Job DescriptionQuality Leadership & OperationsSupervise daily activities of quality inspectors, technicians, and auditors on assigned shifts.Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.Monitor manufacturing processes to identify and address quality issues proactively.Support production teams in maintaining product quality and achieving operational goals.Lead containment activities for non-conforming materials and products.Quality Systems & ComplianceMaintain compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO ****, IATF *****, AS****, or other applicable industry standards.Ensure proper documentation of inspections, audits, corrective actions, and quality records.Participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits.Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures and work instructions.Problem Solving & Continuous ImprovementLead root cause analysis investigations using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, and DMAIC.Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring defects.Analyze quality performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.Drive continuous improvement projects focused on scrap reduction, yield improvement, and customer satisfaction.Team LeadershipRecruit, train, coach, and develop quality personnel.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.Promote a culture of quality, accountability,



and continuous improvement.Coordinate staffing and workload distribution to support production requirements.Customer & Supplier Quality SupportAddress customer quality concerns and coordinate responses to quality complaints.Support supplier quality initiatives and evaluate supplier performance.Participate in customer visits, audits, and quality review meetings.Qualifications EducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Experience3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.Experience with quality management systems and quality improvement methodologies.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies:Statistical Process Control (SPC)Root Cause AnalysisFMEAControl Plans8D Problem SolvingLean ManufacturingSix Sigma principlesProficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.Experience with ERP and manufacturing systems preferred.CompetenciesLeadership and team developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and presentation abilitiesDecision-making and conflict resolutionCustomer-focused mindsetAttention to detailOrganizational and project management skillsContinuous improvement orientationKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)First Pass Yield (FPY)Scrap and rework reductionCustomer complaint rateInternal and external defect ratesCorrective action closure effectivenessAudit findings and compliance performanceCost of Quality (COQ)Employee training and development completionWorking ConditionsManufacturing plant environment.Frequent interaction with production personnel and cross-functional teams.May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting.Flexibility to support multiple shifts and weekend production, as needed.
