you'll be part of our Continuous Improvement team working as an onsite employee.You'll get to:• Supervise the EHS and Medical Departments.
• Support the Human Resources Manager as required.
• Manage the EHS department budget.
• Maintain the organization's legal compliance level by managing legal procedures with relevant government agencies, and develop and implement operational controls for injury prevention, work-related health care, environmental protection, and pollution prevention.
• Develop emergency and contingency plans in case of a pandemic.
• Promote participation in and compliance with Voluntary Self-Assessment Programs promoted by government agencies regarding EHS.
• Responsible for the ISO ***** and ISO ***** Management Systems and act as an internal auditor and host for management audits.
• Promote compliance with the EHS policy, including worker participation.
• Actively educate personnel on the identification and prevention of environmental impacts, incidents, or health hazards arising from their work activities and the company in general.
• Communicate the plant's EHS and Health performance to Senior Management, Corporate, and stakeholders as required.
• Establish strategies to ensure compliance with plant and corporate goals and objectives.
• Liaise with Corporate EHS to report on EHS performance and implement the requirements and controls established by Corporate.
• Advise on and evaluate new projects to define EHS requirements.
• Attend audits of government management systems, legal compliance, ISO *****, and ISO *****, and follow up on the resulting corrective actions.
• Monitoring compliance with the execution of MASS Risk Studies and Analyses.
• Participation in and monitoring of actions derived from GEMBA Walks.
• Promoting continuous EHS improvement through projects and/or updates to operational controls.
• Responsible for waste management:
from generation to dispatch to authorized final disposal sites.
