Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco (On-site)About The RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate who is eager to develop their career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.The adecuado candidate has a strong accounting foundation, gained through a combination of internships or work experience during college and early professional experience after graduation.We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, high energy, and a willingness to learn, take ownership, and meet deadlines.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entriesAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesPerform account reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesSupport bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentationAssist with accruals, prepaids, and other general ledger activitiesPrepare schedules and reports to support the accounting teamEnsure compliance with internal accounting policies and proceduresCollaborate with other departments to obtain financial information as neededSupport audit requests and other ad hoc accounting projectsRequirementsAvailable to work full-time on-site at our Midtown officeBachelor's degree in Accounting (required)2-4 years of accounting experience, including experience gained while attending university (internships, accounting firms, tax firms, or similar)
