Position Summary:
The Marine Underwriter will contribute to the growth of the business by underwriting Marine products under general direction, issuing quotes and policies while ensuring standards and compliance guidelines are met. Responsible for underwriting middle market,



multinational accounts and building relationships with clients and brokers.
How you will create an impact
• Evaluating, prioritizing and selecting submissions to be underwritten. • Underwrite selected, risks, adhering to underwriting guidelines and discipline. • Comply with stablished service level agreements.
• Assisting in developing existing and establishing new broker relationships
• Collaborating with Distribution, Territory Managers and other line(s) of business to target business development opportunities.
• Representing AIG at client and broker functions
• Participating in special underwriting projects as needed.
• Providing superior customer service to brokers and clients (internal & external).
