OverviewEaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Analista en Tratados de Libre Comercio.ResponsibilitiesExecute FTA solicitation and qualification for treaties like: USMCA, MX-Colombia, EU-MX, Korus, US-Israel, etc.Ensure all necessary documentation to support the certifications of origin issuance and refund projects is retained according to the internal Record Keeping process to guarantee full compliance.Explain the application of rules of origin according to what is stated in the FTAs to internal customers to provide full detail on why an item qualifies or does not qualify for the evaluated treaty.Carry out qualification projects by achieving delivery due dates and maintain open, clear communication on the status of each assigned task with the GTM leadership staff and businesses.Communicate monthly results and KPIs on time to minimize risks related to the application of treaties.Stay informed about business projects and import/export operation changes to identify potential risks that could affect the certification of origin process and communicate them to the GTM leadership staff for evaluation and mitigation.Adopt Eaton's safety culture, clean working environment, life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to guarantee a zero-incident culture.Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy & Values.Create and maintain updated standard processes documentation such as Working Instructions and Standard Work, among others.Lead meetings with different stakeholders and demonstrate active participation in internal meetings and trainings.Promote continuous improvement and a digital mindset.QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's degree required.Experience: 1.5 to 2 years of experience in Free Trade Agreements area / Rules of Origin qualification.Technical Knowledge:FTA Qualification Analysis and classification skills.Understanding of rules of origin interpretation & application (Tariff shift & RV), with knowledge of qualification methods like De Minimis.Desirable: SAP-GTS domain knowledge.Knowledge of U.S. and Mexican Government Import Regulations.Advanced English (spoken, written, listening).
