Role OverviewThe Quality Engineer is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures.Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc) in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance.Essential ResponsibilitiesResponsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer's requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE's business needs.Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due customer (internal-external) complaints.Define, design, develop and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP.Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.Perform weekly,



monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas.Define SPC for manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implementing countermeasures.Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC, and LEAN tools.Must Have QualificationsBachelor's degree (manufacturing, engineering or related)Over 1 year of experience as a quality engineer or in a similar positionExcellent computer skills (statistical software, office)Conversational EnglishKnowledge in lean manufacturing tools8D Methodology, Root Cause Analysis, and Problem Solving.Preferred QualificationsOver 3 years of experience in manufacturing environmentsExperienced in medical, electronics, automotive, or aerospace industryExperience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)Proficient in the use of measurement tools and inspection equipmentExperience in personnel supervision and team managementSix Sigma Certified.Knowledge of quality systems and Material Review Board (MRB) processesOver 1 year of experience handling non-conforming materials#J-*****-Ljbffr
