ISP Technology Middle School Teacher Role Profile
Purpose of Role
The purpose of the role of a Middle School Technology Teacher is to introduce students to foundational concepts in technology, digital literacy, and responsible technology use. This role supports students' development of 21st-century skills, preparing them for high school, higher education, and an increasingly digital world.

ISP Technology Middle School Key Responsibilities
- Build Digital Literacy
Teach students how to use computers, software, and the internet safely, responsibly, and effectively.
- Introduce Foundational Technology Skills
Provide instruction in areas like typing, coding, multimedia production, robotics, basic computer science, and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
- Promote Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Use technology projects to develop students' ability to think logically, analyze data, and solve real-world problems.
- Support Responsible Digital Citizensh
