Manager – NoLA PayrollJohnson Controls, a general leader in thermal management and building systems, is seeking a Manager, NoLA Payroll to lead payroll operations across Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Operations DeliveryOversee end-to-end payroll processing using Workday, PeopleNet, UKG and Softland.Manage payroll cycles, validations, reconciliations, and approvals.Ensure accurate processing of earnings, deductions, and statutory requirements.Compliance & GovernanceMaintain knowledge of payroll regulations in Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.Partner with Legal, HR, and Finance to mitigate risks.Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage payroll vendors and ensure SLA adherence.Partner with HR and Finance leaders across the region.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop a regional payroll team.Provide guidance on payroll processes and compliance.Continuous Improvement & TransformationDrive process improvements and standardization.Optimize Workday, PeopleNet,



and Softland usage.Reporting & Financial PartnershipDeliver KPIs and payroll insights.Support finance with accruals and reconciliations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or related field.7+ years payroll experience, including LATAM.3+ years leadership experience.Experience with Workday, PeopleNet, UKG, and/or Softland.Fluency in Spanish and English.Experience in multinational companies (preferred).
