Coordinator, Product Stewardship
The role is responsible for supporting product packaging compliance associated with California Prop 65 warning statement requirements and EPR for packaging. Execute daily compliance tasks, focusing on tracking regulated chemicals, maintaining vendor documentation, and facilitating product labeling or pointofsale warnings to mitigate legal risks. Additionally, role will support Extended Producer Responsibility EPR and packaging compliance. The employee tracks state provincial packaging regulations, compiles data for reporting, processes supplier declarations, and ensures that packaging claims align with legal standards.
Work directly with Product Stewardship Analyst to execute of assigned activities targeted towards warning statement compliance for all branded products across all impacted business units.
Support project activities associated with packaging materials classification by SKU. This may include use of scales and measuring devices to document packaging material composition.
Request and collect chemical disclosure statements, Certificates of Analysis COA, and Safety Data Sheets SDS from domestic and international suppliers.
Track and log supplier responses in the enterprise management or ERP database e.g., SAP EHS to create a verified audit trail of material
Work with production, engineering and marketing teams to draft and implement compliant CA Prop 65 warning labels for products containing listed chemicals.




Audit and validate packaging specifications against supplier composition declarations and product lifecycle management PLM databases
Build repeatable reporting templates, dashboards, and auditready documentation to verify compliance metrics.
Manage data flows from 3PLs and vendors to close compliance gaps
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
Protect Chamberlain Groups reputation by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Education Certifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience
3 years experience working within a manufacturing environment, knowledge and understanding of general workflows associated with packaging processes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent English communication skills, including effective verbal, writing.
Able to use scales and measurement devices for both metric and SI systems. Other
