This is a unique opportunity to work as a fullstack engineer on Trimble Connect, our flagship collaboration platform, where you will explore emerging technologies like Augmented Reality and 3D visualization. You will have a direct hand in creating the frontend infrastructure for our nextgeneration cloud experience, working in a highly international environment to deliver worldclass solutions for the built environment.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Architect and Scale Design, build, and maintain highly scalable cloud architecture and microservices using AWS Lambdas, EC2, S3, etc. to power our cloud collaboration platform.
3D Data Processing Build and optimize backend services that process, manage, and deliver complex 3D construction models and data to client applications.
API Development Design and implement robust,



secure REST APIs and web services to ensure deep connectivity across our vast ecosystem of applications.
Cloud Performance Leverage modern cloudnative development practices and containerization to create resilient systems that promote environmentally conscious digital workflows.
CrossFunctional Collaboration Work closely with software architects, frontend developers, and product designers to streamline data flow and ensure seamless endtoend performance.
Essential Skills Experience
2 years of professional software engineering experience focusing on backend or cloudnative development.
Strong programming fundamentals in Python or Java However, we are languageagnostic and welcome experts in Node.js, C, Go, or others, provided you have deep backend engineering expertise.
Proven Cloud Expertise Handson experience building solutions in Amazon Web Services AWS, specifically with Serverless Lambdas, EC2, S3, SQS, and API Gateway. or equivalent experience with other major cloud providers like Azure or GCP
Architecture APIs Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful web services, and cloud design patterns.
Databases Proficiency in designing and querying SQL NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks like Cypress or Nx tools.
Bonus Points For
Frontend Knowledge Experience with or willingness to learn frontend development, particularly the React ecosystem.
Industry Context Background in the Architecture Construction industry, specifically involving 3D data or model management.




Advanced Tooling Knowledge of application telemetry, cloud debugging, and distributed tracing.
Data Passion A drive to manage complex, heavy data sets and connect disparate enterprise systems.
