**Job Title**:Legal Compliance Specialist II
**Position Summary**:
The Legal Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Buy American Act, Trade Agreements Act, and Free Trade Agreements (BAA, TAA, & FTA) by supporting the LSG Thermo Fisher Legal and Trade Compliance Groups in day to day activities, on the overall business divisions in Mexico (LPD & SUD).




The Legal Compliance Specialist will be responsible for the review, analyze, calculate, determination and maintenance the country of origin qualification of end products according to BAA, TAA, & FTA provisions for LSLPG.
Main responsibilities consist of calculation and maintenance of the country of origin of end products for a broad range of Thermo Fisher products, processing requests from our customers and the business, gathering of needed data to determine end products qualification, compliantly maintaining all necessary documents for Buy American Act, Trade Agreements Act, and Free Trade Agreements country of origin determination.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:
Use of Microsoft office tools (excel intermidiate or advanced)
Fluent English written and spoken
Foreign Trade Basic Knowledge desirable
Bachelor’s degree (LAE, LCEA, or equivalent ) or with a computing degree.
