**Time Commitment**
This is a full-time position, requiring 35-40 hours/week, with the flexibility to manage your schedule. Our team enjoys consistent engagement throughout the year. The other members of the IT team are located in Argentina.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and optimize database systems to ensure data integrity, security, and efficient access.
- Provide advanced IT support, swiftly addressing system errors and security threats.
- Support the integration of new technologies, including AI, to drive efficiencies and innovation.
- Collaborate on key projects such as client portal enhancements, website development, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Maintain and improve IT systems, ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Foster strong vendor and partner relationships,
ensuring alignment with our technology goals.
**Required qualifications and skills**:
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a prerequisite for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in software development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- API integration experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions, with some level of uncertainty.
- Eagerness to take charge and independently drive projects forward.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, maintaining a high pace of work.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on service and teamwork, ensuring clear, frequent, and effective information flow among team members.
- Ability to learn new systems.
**Desired skills**:
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Hubspot, and their integration into business processes.
- Database management/migration experience.
- Documentation skills for system architecture and workflow processes.
- Advanced knowledge in cybersecurity practices and data protection.
- Bonus points if you're a world traveler/digital nomad!
**Compensation**
This full-time independent contractor position offers a salary+PTO package, reflective of your experience and skills. You'll be part of an innovative team with opportunities for growth and development. Annual salary range $22,000 - $28,000 USD, depending on experience level.
