**Your Job**
As a Maintenance Engineer at Molex, you will spearhead the design, development, evaluation, and implementation of control systems for fully automated machines. Your role is crucial in ensuring operational improvements and compliance with business requirements and regulations. You'll be responsible for maintaining productivity metrics, designing maintenance schemes, and fostering automated solutions that enhance machine reliability and efficiency.

**What You Will Do**
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to incorporate process feedback into new and improved designs.
- Develop and uphold control standards by integrating lessons learned from past projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control-related downtime issues promptly to ensure seamless production.
- Design, maintain, and enhance programs for PLCs and automated systems, emphasizing structured and reusable code.
- Train production and maintenance teams on equipment use and troubleshooting via HMI interfaces.
- Propose automation improvements for manufacturing processes to boost production line revenue and availability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards for control systems safeguarding industrial equipment.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Engineering degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Experience in the cables and harnesses industry with automated manufacturing machines.
- Proficient in PLC programming and industrial equipment using IEC 61131-3 languages.
- Skilled in designing and troubleshooting industrial network topologies and fieldbus networks.
- Expertise in creating HMI projects and programming industrial robots.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Advanced skills in programming 6-axis industrial robots (e.g., Yaskawa, Fanuc).
- Experience with automation technologies and analog/digital hardware design.
- Proficiency in programming environments such as Visual Studio, LabView, and Ladder Programming.
- Capability in electrical schematic review and approval for automation systems.
- Knowledge of multiple HMI software platforms like FactoryTalk View, TwinCAT HMI, and others.
