**Your Job**
As a Warranty Engineer at Koch Inc., you will play a pivotal role in achieving both internal and customer quality objectives. You'll be responsible for defining, implementing, measuring, and maintaining warranty and failure analysis strategies and processes. Your expertise will ensure the effectiveness of these processes, driving continuous improvement in product reliability.
**Our Team**
You will be part of the Integral Shared Plants (GSP) division, based in Guadalajara. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality management practices and support our commitment to exceptional product standards.
**What You Will Do**
- Develop comprehensive failure analysis reports to address customer claims, utilizing failure rate models to assess targets and estimate product coverage costs.
- Measure and analyze key quality indicators such as IPTV, CPU, and corrective action status, integrating results into a robust lessons learned database.
- Define and lead processes to record, prioritize, and resolve product failures through cross-functional reviews and rigorous problem-solving methods.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to identify systemic root causes and recommend preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Travel between Molex facilities and customer locations to support quality initiatives and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in Automotive/OEM customer claims care.
- At least 5 years of experience in Automotive tier 1,



2, or 3 production and quality management or engineering management.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Analysis, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, GD&T;, Gage R&R;, and Control Plans.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485.
- Knowledge of customer requirements, including VDA 6.3, BIQS, and MSA-Q1.
- Experience with Layered Process Audits (CQI-8) and quality management software like SAP and Minitab.
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive and hands-on working mentality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
