**This is a temporary position with a duration of one year.**
Responsible for the execution/develop of manufacturing controls. Work will be performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.
**Responsibilities include**:
- New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff)
- Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement
- Maintaining awareness of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision)
of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts
- Managing deliveries to program timing milestones
- Providing project report outs to senior management
- Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.)
- Providing technical direction to less experienced controls engineers.
- Designing and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems
- Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Siemens Step 7 and Allen Bradley Studio 5000.
- Hands‑on experience with PLC Siemens, Allen Bradley, and FANUC controllers.
- Knowledge of FANUC and KUKA industrial robots.
- Strong understanding of electronics, electricity, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Availability to work on rotating shifts (4x3 schedule).
- English proficiency:
Intermediate conversational level, with ability to express complete technical ideas.
- Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
