Watlow is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Jr. to support our Tubular Heaters area.
This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, supporting product and tooling development, and driving efficiency within the plant. The position works under general supervision while contributing technical solutions that impact product quality, cost, and process performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to build hands-on manufacturing experience in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations by developing and improving production processes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of tooling and fixtures for manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Participate in product and process validation activities, including testing and reporting.
- Support root cause analysis for production or quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.




- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other internal teams.
- Contribute to cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and waste elimination initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience or academic background in tooling design.
- Experience using design software (CAD tools required).
- Fluent English (written and spoken) - mandatory.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) knowledge - preferred.
- Experience in heating elements, tubular products, or similar industrial manufacturing processes.
- Internship or early-career experience in manufacturing engineering.
