Watlow is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to optimize supply chain performance through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to drive strategic and tactical improvements.
- Identify underperforming areas within the supply chain and develop action plans to implement and sustain improvements.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and databases to ensure data integrity and performance tracking.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality & Development, and Buying teams.
- Support supplier contract negotiations through risk evaluation and performance analysis.
- Manage general supplier correspondence and maintain updates to Supplier Requirements documentation.
- Participate in lean initiatives and kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across value streams, business units, and global sites to align objectives and improve supply chain linkage.
- Support cross-border operations (MX-US), inbound/outbound logistics, service invoice review, and supplier coordination.
- Ensure alignment with trade compliance and customs regulations.
Mandatory Requirement
- Proven experience participating in an Oracle ERP implementation as a Supply Chain SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Must have hands-on involvement in process definition, testing, training, and go-live support within Supply Chain modules.
Technical & Functional Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of domestic and international multimodal transportation.
- Experience with cross-dock and cross-border (MX-US) operations.
- Strong understanding of:
- Material management
- MRP systems
- Pull systems and flow concepts
- Lean implementation principles
- Experience in supplier negotiations and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within industrial companies or freight forwarders.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken required).
