what we're looking for
- 5+ years operating production distributed systems, with real on-call ownership.
- strong hands-on azure across the services listed above — particularly container apps, postgresql adaptable server, networking (vnet, private endpoints, dns) and front door.
- infrastructure as code — bicep (preferred), terraform or arm — and pipeline-driven delivery via azure devops.
- scripting in python and/or bash and the ability to read application code to debug across the stack.
- containers and queue-based, asynchronous workloads.
- observability practice — metrics, logs, traces, alerting, dashboards.
- clear written communication — runbooks, postmortems, design docs.
