Supply Chain Manager - Monterrey, NL, MX

This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class manufacturing business that is initiating operations in Monterrey, Mexico. The Plant Supply Chain Manager manages the daily plant supply chain operations to maximize manufacturing efficiency, minimize cost, drive quality, and ensure on-time delivery of supplies and finished goods. The Plant Supply Chain Manager has overall plant responsibility for production control, manufacturing scheduling, inventory management, vendor qualification, and inbound/outbound logistics of materials. The position drives improvement in safety, quality, and operations efficiency.

Position eligible only for Mexican Payroll.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (required), Master's is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of Manager experience.




- 7 years of experience in a Supply Chain Manufacturing environment (Maquiladora).
- Experience using ERP or other systems (SAP preferred).
- S&OP; experience is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Competencies:
- Proven leader in a cross-functional, matrix environment is a must
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, including operations planning, materials management, purchasing, freight management, and transportation management systems.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP and MS Office, ERP (SAP preferred), Materials Resource Planning, and working knowledge of transportation management systems.
- An experienced practitioner of Lean Manufacturing, Process Control, and Continuous Improvement.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills to review demand forecasts, and manufacturing schedules, and establish supply schedules to support manufacturing.
