This position involves heavy travel (65 -85%) to commission, test and verify new conveyor automation systems throughout the U.S. This is a great opportunity for junior engineers who are ready to start a rewarding pathway to other areas of automation such as control system design, panel design, and power distribution.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Debug various automation systems
- System and I/O Checkout
- Support Controls and PLC checkout
- Test system performance
- Lead teams of commissioning Engineers
- Verification and validation of engineered systems to meet design and customer specifications
- Interface with clients and subcontractors and resolve problems and issues satisfactorily
- Design pre-punched enclosures and subpanels utilizing AutoCAD
