Job Description: Technical Solution Architect (ABAP)
Position Summary
The Technical Solution Architect (ABAP) is responsible for designing and overseeing SAP technical solutions with a strong focus on ABAP development within S/4HANA and ECC environments. This role acts as a bridge between business requirements, functional design, and technical implementation, ensuring scalable, efficient,
and high-quality SAP solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities

Define, design, and govern SAP ABAP technical architecture in alignment with project and enterprise requirements.

Provide guidance on ABAP development standards, performance optimization, and best practices in S/4HANA environments.

Lead technical design sessions and translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Evaluate existing custom developments and recommend remediation, simplification, or optimization approaches.

Oversee and review developments (RICEF objects, CDS Views, OData Services, Enhancements, Interfaces).

Collaborate with functional, integration, and BASIS teams to ensure end-to-end technical integrity.

Provide thought leadership on ABAP modernization (HANA-optimized code, RAP, Fiori enablement).
