We are seeking a data-driven, hands‑on Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to lead transformational change across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high‑level statistical analysis and shop‑floor execution. You will design efficient workflows, eliminate waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead CI & Kaizen Initiatives: Execute high-impact manufacturing and continuous improvement projects using structured project management tools (project charters, Gantt charts, and communication plans). Lead cross-functional Kaizen events on the shop floor.
- Optimize Workflows & Layouts: Design and implement optimized equipment layouts, workflow sequences, and space utilization plans using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to eliminate waste and maximize efficiency.
- Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize advanced statistical analysis (Minitab) to identify process trends, determine root causes, and provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
- Track Financial Impact:
Monitor the financial performance of CI initiatives by developing robust cost-savings calculation models and delivering detailed monthly impact reports.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure all process improvements and layouts strictly align with ISO quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate & Influence: Partner closely with operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and sustain process changes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a dedicated Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Engineering role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and advanced statistical tools (Minitab).
- Deep practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred).
- Solid understanding of ISO standards and GMP requirements.
- Proven track record of managing projects from concept to completion, strong communication skills, and a results-driven focus on SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics.
