Materials Manager - MX State Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a manufacturing company as a Materials Manager in the State of Mexico. The successful candidate needs to have experience in leading Sourcing, Purchasing, MRP, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics. This person will manage and support the SC team in a Manufacturing Industry.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (required), Master's is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of Manager experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
- BOM Management Systems
- 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment (Maquiladora)
- In-depth knowledge of current best practices in Purchasing
- Experience using ERP or other systems
- Supplier development (integral and domestic)
- Bilingual in English Spanish

Essential Duties:
- Planned, develop, and continuously updated Purchasing and Sourcing strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate operation KPIs for the Purchasing department and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
- Actively and aggressively pursue year-over-year cost reduction.
- Determine material requirements from customer demand sales forecast, customer orders, production schedules, and bills of materials.
- Monitor and control freight costs for direct materials.
