Exploration Mining Geologist, Central America

The role is based in South America. Fluency in English is required, and speaking Spanish is beneficial.

Requirements

- Full‑time position
- • The adecuado candidate will preferably have a Msc Degree in Geology.
- • At least 10 to 15 years of experience.
- • Experience in epithermal gold and silver and in polymetallic gold and silver systems.
- • Deep mine experience handling 4 u/g drills, grade control, surface drills, and related services.
- • Extensive experience as a mine geologist, advising and leading teams on mine operations.
- • Provide exploration geology advice to mine management, establishing extensive drilling plans and expert opinions on where and when to include in the mining plan.
- • Responsible for identifying and assessing the location,



quantity and quality of mineral deposits.
- • Fluency in English; speaking Spanish is beneficial.

Hands‑on Skills

- Knowledge of a range of sciences and their applications.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
- Good organisational skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to analyse numerical and graphical data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Geological mapping, rock recognition, structural geology, knowledge of geochemistry and geophysics, GIS, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in economic geology.
