the field service technician is responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing electric torque tools and related systems at customer sites.
responsibilities
- install, commission, and configure electric torque tools and controllers at customer facilities.
- perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of torque equipment.
- diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- conduct on-site testing and validation to ensure tools meet torque accuracy specifications.
- provide operator training and technical guidance to customers.
- document service activities, calibration results, and equipment status reports
qualifications
- technical diploma or associate degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or related field.
Bachelor in engineering is a plus.
- 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or industrial equipment repair experience.
- working knowledge of electric torque tools, fastening systems, or precision assembly equipment.
- ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- proficiency with diagnostic instruments (multimeters, torque analyzers, calibration devices).
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
- excellent communication and customer service skills.
