YOUR ROLE:

You will join a specialist group that uses advanced math, computer programs, and data to build mathematical models that make smart, fast business choices - decide where to spend money on exploration, exploitation and how to run oil and gas projects.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support business processes.
- Create and Optimize math models, workflows, including uploading inputs into existing scripts, and design simple UI components where needed.
- Implement Linear Programming with Python.
- Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
- Integrate and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Perform data extraction and parsing from third-party APIs.
- Support GIS mapping tasks.

YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent and 4+ yoe
- Strong Experience in Python, implementing Linear Programming, create mathematical models, workflows and optimize them
- Develops mathematical models and workflows from concept to implementation,



applying algorithmic thinking and analytical approaches to address business and technical challenge
- Experience in Azure Cloud
- Strong understanding of database interaction (SQL or NoSQL), data automation and building lightweight UIs.
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks and ETL/data processing tools.
- Ability to work with APIs for data extraction and integration.
- Advanced English Communication.

Nice to have:
- Exposure to GIS concepts and libraries (e.g., GeoPandas, Shapely, QGIS), experience in C/C++, Python frameworks used in Linear Programming such as Scipy, Pyomo, Numpy, etc.
