Vacancy: Commissioning Technician

Location: Guanajuato, México.

The Commissioning Technician will ensure that the system, equipment, and installation function correctly, safely, and as designed before delivery to the client or commissioning. Responsible for testing, adjusting, and validating that everything is working properly before official startup. Commission, test, and validate PLC-controlled automated systems, ensuring that the hardware, software, and processes interact correctly according to the project engineering. This is the final technical check before an installation becomes fully operational.





The tasks that the Commisioning Technician will develop are the following ones:
- Verify digital and analog I/O (I/O check).
- Check sensors, actuators, valves, motors, and variators
- Check wiring, signals, grounds, communications
- Diagnosing electrical and instrumentation faults
- Load and validate PLC programs
- Adjust parameters, timings and scaling
- Test the programs under certain conditions, ensuring that everything works according to production requirements
- Test security logic and interlocks.
- Force signals (when safe) for testing
- Collaborate with the programmer in fixing bugs
- HMI/SCADA: Verify screens, alarms and trends, check local/remote commands, validate fault messages and statuses

What will you need as a successful Commissioning Technician?
- Degree in Electronic, electricity, mechanical, electromechanical engineering Degree.
- 1 year of experience with PLC Brands programming.
