Candidates will relate with multicultural teams and vendors worldwide, therefore must possess great communication skills at all levels and speak fluently English and Spanish. Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering.
- Hands on mold and process troubleshooting and mold maintenance practices.
- Experience developing complex mold tooling (side actions, hot runner systems, unwinds..) on schedule for production of high quality, low cost, high volume components
- 6+ years of hands-on experience involving specification, procurement, and qualification of molds for injection molded components
- Proficient with the use of SPC, DOE, Six Sigma techniques, and capability studies
- Manage tool design, fabrication, process development, and qualification at the supplier.
- Knowledge and use of CNC, grinding, milling, EDM equipment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Work, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- Ability to perform financial analysis and cost justifications
- Proficient use of CAD 2D and 3D modeling and mold flow analysis.
