Overview

Regional Buyer in North America – Aftermarket Purchasing, Control Systems. Reports to the Head of Aftermarket Purchasing Region North America and Control Systems Integral Purchasing. You will be the functional expert for Aftermarket Purchasing activities in North America related to Control Systems. You will join a highly motivated and competent team focused on sustainably driving savings and sourcing excellence for customers.

Responsibilities

- Purchasing activities: sourcing, launch, cost management, and supply base management
- Set contractual agreements for regional suppliers operating globally, regionally, and locally, ensuring competitiveness
- Identify and evaluate market trends necessary for the purchasing strategy and target achievement

Required qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Direct Material Purchasing capacity — technical purchasing, commodity purchasing, project purchasing in a manufacturing environment,



including sourcing, launch, cost optimization and supply base management
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents (drawings, specs, engineering changes); facilitate technical reviews and VAVE
- Knowledge of ERP, PLM systems and project management
- Proficient in Microsoft O365 with Advanced Analytics and Negotiation Skills
- Travel required 20%
