Overview

Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Technology Integration: Investigate and integrate identity management, storage solutions, container platforms, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies

Cloud Platform Management: Work with AWS and Azure services to build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure

Collaboration: Partner with team leads and fellow engineers to deliver reliable and efficient cloud solutions

Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices while building expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Technology Integration: Investigate and integrate identity management, storage solutions, container platforms, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies

Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices while building expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and cloud-native services

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or related technical roles
- Demonstrated interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) through coursework, personal projects, or professional experience
- Eagerness to learn Terraform, Ansible, and various AWS and Azure services
- Understanding of basic networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and system administration concepts
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams

Nice to have

- Familiarity with any of the following: AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC), Azure services (Virtual Machines, Storage, Active Directory/Entra)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus
