Operations Handler (Open)

Full‑time position located in Zihuatanejo, GRO, Mexico.

Responsibilities

- Lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Operate ramp and warehouse equipment, load and unload company aircraft and vehicles safely.
- Sort packages and provide efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
- Check packages for proper labeling, legality of contents, weight and size, wrapping, insurance values, and hazardous material requirements.
- Complete delivery paperwork such as airway bills, delivery records, and vehicle condition reports with neatness and accuracy.
- Seek additional business from current customers and pass leads to the Sales Manager when unsuccessful.
- Report changes in customer or competitor efforts to the Station Ops Manager and Sales.
- Audit the size and weight of packages and boxes and perform sorting.




- Use safety equipment and comply with FedEx safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
- Operate company vehicles safely, perform basic maintenance such as cleaning, washing, and checking tire pressure.

Qualifications

- High school degree or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
- General vehicle maintenance experience a plus.
- Experience with power and hand tools preferred.
- Basic English language skills.
- Must be able to successfully complete the Reading, Map Reading, Sorting, and Math sections of the Basic Skills Test.
