wthe initial assignment will focus on a strategic product cost-reduction and redesign program aimed at reducing overall system and board-level costs while maintaining product performance, quality, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements. This is a long-term initiative with the potential to expand into additional r&d; programs

- gnanalyze existing electronic designs to identify cost-reduction opportunitie
- s.simplify or eliminate over-engineered circuitry and component
- s.redesign pcb assemblies to reduce bill-of-materials (bom) cost
- s.evaluate alternative system configurations to optimize cost and functionalit
- y.collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on cost-down initiative

s.component selection & qualificati

- onresearch and identify lower-cost component alternative
- s.support dual-sourcing strategies to improve supply chain resilienc
- e.lead component evaluation, testing, and qualification effort
- s.partner with sourcing and procurement teams on component selection decision

s.power & battery system engineeri

- ngsupport redesign of legacy power-management architecture
- s.improve battery and power-system designs for cost, manufacturability, and reliabilit
- y.evaluate design tradeoffs and implement cost-effective solution

r.required qualificatio

- nsbachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fiel
- d.5+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in product development environment
- s.demonstrated experience with pcb and electronic system redesig
- n.experience with component selection, qualification, and sourcing suppor
- t.understanding of pcba manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principle
- s.experience developing and executing engineering test protocol
- s.strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost optimizatio
- n.ability to work independently while coordinating cross-functional activitie

s.preferred qualificatio

- nsexperience with power electronics, battery systems, or power-management architecture
- s.familiarity with rf, wireless communication, and wi-fi technologie
- s.prior experience leading technical projects or performing light project management responsibilitie
- s.experience driving product cost-reduction initiatives from concept through implementatio
