Job Title: Accounting & Tax Specialist

Job Responsibilities

Handle full-cycle accounting for Mexico entity

Prepare and review statutory accounting records in compliance with Mexican GAAP (NIF)

Manage local tax compliance, including VAT (IVA), ISR, and other tax filings

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in accounting and tax reporting

Requirements

-
5+ years of accounting experience

-
3+ years of hands-on tax experience in Mexico

Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax regulations

Working proficiency in Spanish and English

Experience in Chinese companies, Financial Services, or FinTech is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with multinational or fast-growing companies

Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset

Able to work onsite in Mexico City
